The Tigard Downtown Alliance is pleased to announce a new art piece that will be coming to Downtown Tigard.

In partnership with the City of Tigard,  Tigard community members will be able to help create this piece of art by painting one of the spaces. The art piece is called “Building Our New Landscape” and is designed by local artist, Emily Lux.

Tigard community members that want to assist with the project can sign up for a two hour paint session for March 20, 21, 27 or 28. It is free to participate. No experience is necessary and all ages are welcome. Please remember to wear comfortable clothing that you are ok to get paint on and wear a mask. All the supplies needed will be provided.

All Covid-19 safety guidelines will be implemented and you will be asked to leave if you are feeling ill. To allow for social distancing and a safe space, space is limited and reservations are required.

Once the community mural is completed, it will be displayed in Downtown Tigard on Main Street Stamp & Stationery in mid-April.
